Buy a Vascular Laser: Devices for Couperose, Rosacea and Spider Veins
Do you want to buy a vascular laser to treat couperose, red capillaries, rosacea redness or spider veins? Then you can choose between a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser, a light system with vascular filters, and additional handpieces for redness on pigment and tattoo lasers. Each variant has its strengths, depending on how large and how deep the vessels are and where they sit. This buying guide explains how vascular treatment works technically, which SIACSKIN device covers which vascular changes according to the product description, where the limits lie and what monthly rate you need to plan for.
How laser and light close a vessel
Vascular treatments are based on selective photothermolysis: the light is absorbed by the red blood pigment hemoglobin, converted into heat and damages the vessel wall while sparing the surrounding tissue as much as possible. The vessel closes off and is gradually broken down by the body. Three factors are decisive:
- Wavelength: Shorter wavelengths in the visible range reach fine, superficial vessels. 1064 nm penetrates deeper and is absorbed less strongly by melanin, which matters for deeper vessels and darker skin types.
- Pulse duration: Larger vessels need longer pulses so that the heat spreads throughout the entire vessel wall.
- Cooling: Good skin cooling protects the surface and makes the treatment more comfortable. More under Skin cooling during laser treatment.
What lies behind couperose, rosacea and spider veins is explained on the page Treating couperose, rosacea and spider veins.

The devices in detail
DERMAFORCE BBL PRO: The BroadBand Light system works with 9 interchangeable filters. With the vascular filters you select the wavelength range that hemoglobin absorbs. Two light windows are available: 45 × 15 mm for diffuse redness on the cheeks and décolletage, 30 × 12 mm for smaller areas such as the sides of the nose. Pulse widths up to 800 ms in single and multiple pulse and sapphire contact cooling allow gentle fine-tuning, and there is no downtime. Because it also covers pigment spots, acne and skin rejuvenation, it is the entry point into vascular treatments for many studios. Leasing from approx. €450 per month.
AlexDUAL UFO: The dual-wave laser combines 755 nm alexandrite with 1064 nm Nd:YAG. The description names the Nd:YAG for vascular lesions such as vessels and spider veins as well as for rosacea. The pulse duration is adjustable from 0.3 to 100 ms, the square spot measures 10 to 40 mm, and the 4-fold cooling with integrated skin cooling makes an external cooling device unnecessary. The main application remains hair removal for skin types I to VI; vascular treatment is an additional treatment field. Leasing from approx. €1,190 per month.
PICOLO XL and PICOLO L: Both are primarily tattoo and pigment lasers. The PICOLO XL can optionally be supplemented with a dye handpiece with 585 and 650 nm for vascular redness; the PICOLO L has a 585 nm attachment for redness (flush). Useful if you already use these lasers for tattoo or pigment and want to offer redness treatment as an additional service. Leasing from approx. €1,000 (PICOLO XL) or from approx. €690 (PICOLO L) per month.
For practices and clinics, the description of the SIACSKIN x Velaslift also lists vascular lesions, spider veins and redness as applications, depending on the specialty. The Velaslift is a medical device for medical practitioners with a focus on laser lipolysis and is not an offering for beauty studios.
Which technology for which vascular change?
- Couperose and diffuse facial redness: BBL with vascular filters, because the light reaches large areas evenly.
- Individual red capillaries (telangiectasia): BBL with the small light window or a long-pulsed Nd:YAG, depending on size and depth.
- Spider veins on the legs: This is where the Nd:YAG at 1064 nm makes the most of its depth; on the AlexDUAL UFO it is expressly intended for this according to the description.
- Redness as an add-on to tattoo and pigment: 585 nm attachment on the PICOLO L or dye handpiece on the PICOLO XL.
Basics on the two laser wavelengths can be found under Alexandrite laser and Nd:YAG laser, and the light technology under BBL and IPL light treatment.
Limits of vascular treatment
Laser and light improve visible vessels and redness, but they do not replace a diagnosis. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition: light can reduce the redness and visible capillaries, but the condition itself remains and should be monitored medically. Varicose veins and larger veins need phlebological evaluation before any aesthetic treatment. Spider veins usually require several sessions, and new vessels can form over time. Communicate this openly.
Costs as a monthly rate
We do not state purchase prices, but example leasing rates, net, for a 60-month term: DERMAFORCE BBL PRO from approx. €450, PICOLO L from approx. €690, PICOLO XL from approx. €1,000 and AlexDUAL UFO from approx. €1,190 per month. Financing runs through our partner bank as leasing, rent-to-own, loan or purchase, with no down payment on request and also for start-ups, subject to credit check. More under Leasing or financing a laser device.
Example with assumptions: Suppose a couperose session with BBL brings you €90 net after costs. Then five sessions per month cover the example rate of approx. €450. The figures are assumptions only. Calculate with your own values in the price calculator.
Checklist before buying
- Which vascular changes occur most often in your business: diffuse redness, individual capillaries or spider veins?
- Does the device cover the necessary wavelengths, pulse durations and spot sizes?
- Is skin cooling integrated, or do you additionally need a cold air device such as the KYROMASTER?
- Which skin types do you treat (Skin types according to Fitzpatrick)?
- Are laser protection and qualifications clarified? Who may perform which treatment is regulated in Germany by the NiSV. Clarify the requirements case by case (Laser protection and safety).
- Is onboarding and training through the SIAC Akademie planned?
SIACSKIN builds its devices itself in Germany, with a 2-year warranty and service from Düsseldorf. In the showroom you can test the devices by appointment. Further reading: BBL device buying guide and Nd:YAG laser buying guide.

Frequently asked questions
Which laser is best for spider veins?
For spider veins on the legs, a long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm is often used because the wavelength penetrates deeper. On the AlexDUAL UFO, the Nd:YAG is intended for vessels and spider veins according to the description. Larger veins should be medically evaluated beforehand.
Can couperose be treated with BBL or IPL?
Yes, light systems with vascular filters are often used for couperose and diffuse redness. The DERMAFORCE BBL PRO has dedicated vascular filters for redness, rosacea, couperose and telangiectasia. Several sessions are usually needed.
Does light treatment help with rosacea?
Light and laser can reduce the redness and visible capillaries in rosacea. The condition itself is chronic and should be monitored medically. Results depend on the initial findings and skin type.
Do I need a separate device just for vessels?
Usually not. The DERMAFORCE BBL PRO also covers pigment, acne and skin rejuvenation, the AlexDUAL UFO mainly hair removal, and PICOLO L and PICOLO XL tattoo and pigment. Vascular treatments thus run as an additional treatment field.
How much does a vascular laser cost per month?
At SIACSKIN, the example leasing rates start at approx. €450 for the DERMAFORCE BBL PRO and go up to approx. €1,190 for the AlexDUAL UFO, net for a 60-month term and subject to credit check.
All rates net, example calculation based on a 60-month term, subject to credit check. As of October 2026.
