Which hair removal device is right for your studio?

What to look for when buying
- Wavelengths and skin types: The more skin types you can treat safely, the larger your target group. Learn more in the article Skin types according to Fitzpatrick.
- Power and spot size: They determine how long a treatment of the legs or back takes, and therefore how many appointments are possible per day.
- Cooling: Good contact cooling makes the treatment more comfortable and protects the skin, see Skin cooling during laser treatments.
- Running costs: Look at shot limits, handpiece replacement and service costs, not just the monthly rate.
- Training and service: Onboarding, training through the SIAC Akademie and a 2-year warranty are included with SIACSKIN.

Frequently asked questions
Which laser is suitable for all skin types?
For skin types I to V, the DEWEON 4LD with four wavelengths is the most versatile choice. For very dark skin (skin type VI), we recommend the AlexDUAL UFO with Nd:YAG 1064 nm.
Can I also remove blonde hair with a laser?
Light, fine hair responds less well to lasers because it lacks pigment. For this there is LED epilation with the VCL DERMALIGHT. More in the article “Permanently removing blonde and light hair”.
Can I lease a hair removal device?
Yes. Through our partner bank, leasing, rent-to-own or a loan is possible, with no down payment on request and also for start-ups. Example rates: VCL DERMALIGHT from approx. €190, DEWEON 4LD from approx. €470, AlexDUAL UFO from approx. €1,190 per month (net, 60 months).
