Mixed Technology or two wavelengths with AI

Quanta System offers the Thunder series with one or two laser sources. The Thunder MT version adds the manufacturer's own Quanta Mixed Technology®. According to Quanta, it covers the widest range of hair removal applications, plus vascular treatments and skin rejuvenation, and is meant to enable hair removal year-round even on medium to darker skin types.

The AlexDUAL UFO relies on both wavelengths in one device and moves parameter selection into the software: the SIA AI analyzes skin type and treatment area via cameras in the handpiece and sets energy, pulse duration and frequency automatically. That makes treatments reproducible and makes it easier for new staff to get started. Alexandrite 755 nm is absorbed especially strongly by melanin and suits light skin and fine, lighter hair; Nd:YAG 1064 nm penetrates deeper and suits dark skin types up to Fitzpatrick VI. Scanner or large square spot

For large areas, Quanta relies on the OptiScan TH scanner with AutoMotion technology, which distributes the energy automatically and evenly over wide areas, as well as on handpieces with a super-elliptical spot shape and optimized beam profile. The goal of both solutions is to control overlaps and work faster.

SIACSKIN solves the same task through geometry: the AlexDUAL UFO works with a square spot from 10 to 40 mm. Square spots can be placed flush next to each other without tracks overlapping or gaps appearing. This way you treat legs, back or chest quickly with the handpiece, without an additional scanner.

Cooling and comfort

Quanta System describes Qool-air as a compact, powerful cooling system designed specifically for the Thunder series, which also cools large skin areas and is controlled directly via the laser screen. With the AlexDUAL UFO, the cooling is built in: a 4-fold cooling with a compressor of our own development and integrated skin cooling.
