TULIX – 1927 nm thulium laser & 1550 nm erbium laser for melasma, pigmentation, scars and skin resurfacing
The TULIX combines two wavelengths on one platform: 1927 nm thulium for the epidermis and pigment, and 1550 nm erbium glass for the dermis and collagen. As a non-ablative fractional laser, it treats two skin layers in a single session – with minimal downtime and for all skin types. Melasma, hyperpigmentation, age spots, acne scars, fine lines and enlarged pores are all covered with just one device.
What makes the TULIX special: a fast galvo scanner delivers a full face in under 8 minutes, while motion tracking and an infrared thermal sensor in the handpiece prevent double treatment and overheating. And because the TULIX works without consumables and without a shot limit, there are no follow-up costs per treatment.
The TULIX is designed for practices, clinics and professional studios that want to offer pigment treatments and anti-aging in a way that is economical, safe and fully documented. CE-marked under MDR and FDA.
Applications and indications
-
With the 1927 nm thulium (epidermis): melasma and hyperpigmentation, age spots, sun-damaged skin, skin brightening, and actinic keratoses (in a medical setting).
-
With the 1550 nm erbium (dermis): acne scars, surgical scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, and enlarged pores.
-
With both wavelengths combined: skin renewal (“skin resurfacing”) in two skin layers in one session, acne, dark circles, and scalp treatments.
For your practice or studio, this means: pigment, scars and anti-aging with one device. More treatment fields mean more revenue per device – and because there are no consumables, more of every treatment stays in your pocket. This way, the TULIX pays for itself faster.
Technology and mode of action
The TULIX creates microscopically fine treatment zones in the skin while the tissue in between stays intact. The body's own regeneration then kicks in: the microzones close, new collagen is formed, and the skin renews itself step by step. Because the skin surface is not removed (non-ablative), downtime stays low.
The two wavelengths complement each other ideally: 1927 nm is strongly absorbed by water and acts superficially in the epidermis – exactly where pigment disorders and melasma originate. 1550 nm penetrates deeper into the dermis and stimulates new collagen formation there – ideal for acne scars, wrinkles and slackened skin structure. Both wavelengths can be used individually or combined.
The galvo scanner with at least 500 spots per second, freely selectable scan fields from 1 × 1 to 20 × 20 mm and the scan modes Line, Random Single and Random Continuous ensures fast, even treatments. Motion tracking and an infrared thermal sensor in the handpiece prevent double treatment and overheating. The cloud software with patient records, NiSV-compliant documentation and a protocol library by Fitzpatrick type documents every pulse automatically.
